Lymphatic massage – what is it and how does it work?
Lymphatic massage is a specialised manual technique whose aim is to stimulate the flow of lymph and support the work of the lymphatic system. Gentle and rhythmic movements performed along the course of the lymphatic vessels help drain excess fluid from the tissues, reducing swelling and a feeling of heaviness.
The treatment consists of appropriately selected pressure and precise work on the tissues in the direction of lymph flow. At UfMed we perform lymphatic drainage in Warsaw, tailoring the therapy to the individual needs of the body. If you want to learn more, check the effects of lymphatic drainage.
